Embryo glue

Embryo Glue is involved in fertilization, embryo development, and implantation, and its activity is highest during embryo implantation. Hyaluronan is the compound from which it is formed. This is a sophisticated micromolecule found in the uterine fluid.

Embryo glue is the last stage of the vitrolife medium arrangement, into which embryos are deposited prior to transfer. Embryo glue can be used to transfer embryos at any stage of development.

Embryo glue is a chemical compound used to cover embryos before they are transferred into the uterus. It improves the stickiness of embryos when placed into the uterus, allowing them to implant more easily… and adhere onto the uterine lining, improving the implantation rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

EmbryoGlue is a hyaluronan-rich medium for embryo transfer (ET) that helps embryos implant in the uterine lining and, as a result, increases the chances of getting pregnant during in-vitro fertilization-ET cycles (IVF-ET).

It has been shown to raise both live birth rates and pregnancy rates. A review done by the Cochrane Collaboration looked at information from 26 clinical studies that had been checked for quality. Based on data from more than 4,000 exchanges, the chance of a live birth goes up by 20% if you use EmbyroGlue.

There are no known risks to using EmbryoGlue, but based on our experience, we don’t put hatched blastocysts (embryos that have come out of their shell or are coming out of their shell) into EmbryoGlue before transfer.
